Thought to begin the week.

"I think we underestimate the impact of sleep. Our data show that across countries internationally, on average, children who have more sleep achieve higher in maths, science and reading."

Science Inquiry: The Big Question

We thought of different subjects and things we might be interested in exploring for science.  Then we started asking questions:
How was the ocean made?
What makes you ticklish?
Why are cabbages green?
Why are people interested in C.O.D?
Are dogs colour blind?
Why do girls have long hair?
Does fizzy (drink) make your concentration better?
Why do onions make you cry?
Why is junk food so good?

Welcome back!

Welcome back to all students!
Term 2 is an exciting term with the Science Fair as a particular focus.  We will be looking at a scientific method for testing and producing our own experiments through the process of inquiry.
We are in the Science Lab tomorrow to begin our exploration.

Maths homework and spelling begin today!  Remember to read the latest classroom newsletter which will be out later this week :)
